If you're looking for more elasticity, natural freshness, and defined facial contours—without the appearance of being "injected"—then biostimulators are an excellent option. At my PrimaDopo studio in Lucerne, I offer two proven products: Radiesse® and Sculptra®. Both specifically stimulate the body's own collagen production—for subtle, long-lasting results that steadily improve over time.
Sculptra® contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a bioactive ingredient that stimulates the deep layers of the skin to produce new collagen over several months. What's special about this treatment is that the results develop gradually—without a sudden surge in volume. I generally recommend two to three sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Sculptra® is ideal for patients who desire long-term, very natural rejuvenation—without the classic "filler look."
Radiesse®
Radiesse®, on the other hand, combines an immediately visible volume effect with effective biostimulation. It is particularly suitable for targeted accentuation, for example, in the cheek or temple area. Radiesse® also promotes collagen production – the difference lies in the speed and type of effect.
I will advise you in detail on which product is best suited to your skin structure, complexion, and personal aesthetic goals. Because not every skin type benefits equally from the same ingredients. In some cases, a combination of both products on different areas makes sense; in other cases, one is clearly more suitable.

Modern injection techniques
The treatment is well-tolerated and—like every procedure in my studio—is performed exclusively by me personally. I work with modern injection techniques, using a blunt cannula to minimize tissue damage. You can count on a calm atmosphere, maximum precision, and complete transparency.
You can usually return to social activities immediately after treatment. Slight swelling or redness may occur, but usually subsides quickly. Depending on your initial condition and the product used, the effect will become visible after a few weeks and improve with each session.

What are biostimulators and how do they work?
Biostimulators such as Radiesse® and Sculptra® are potent injectable substances that specifically stimulate the body's own collagen production. They sustainably improve skin texture, provide increased elasticity, and give your face a fresh, natural appearance – without excessive volume or artificial effects.
What is the difference between Radiesse® and Sculptra®?
Radiesse® is based on calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres and acts both as a gentle filler and as a biostimulator with immediate effect.
Sculptra®, on the other hand, contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and stimulates collagen production over several weeks to months – for a gradual, very natural volume build-up without a sudden effect.
In which areas are biostimulators used?
I prefer to use biostimulators on the midface (cheeks), the temples, and along the lower facial contours, the neck and décolleté, and the back of the hands. Radiesse® is also suitable for treating deeper wrinkles in the lower third of the face. The choice of product always depends on your skin texture, facial expressions, and your personal treatment goals.
How is the treatment performed – is it painful?
I work with fine needles or, for a more gentle approach, blunt cannulas. This technique reduces the risk of bruising and allows for very precise application. The treatment is generally well tolerated.
What should I do after a Sculptra® treatment?
Proper aftercare is essential with Sculptra®: I recommend the so-called 5-5-5 rule – that is, you should gently massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days. This helps distribute the product evenly and minimizes the risk of small bumps forming under the skin. I'll show you the technique in detail, of course.
How long does the effect last
Sculptra® takes effect over several weeks to months, and the effect can last for up to two years or longer. Radiesse® works immediately while providing long-lasting improvement in skin quality—typically for about 12 to 18 months.
How many treatments are required?
With Sculptra®, two to three sessions spaced several weeks apart are usually necessary to achieve the desired effect. With Radiesse®, a single application is often sufficient – depending on the skin condition and the desired result.
